Aluminum or Graphite?
I recently bought a spinning reel, and it came with an aluminum and a graphite spool. Which one’s better, why do they give you both?
The graphite spool is used for light line of 6# or less. The aluminum spool is for anything over 8# or for braided line. Or you can use one as a spare. If fishing saltwater use the graphite spool. Just an idea, there is not one that is better or worse than the other. Strength and weight are the main differences
